~~~ A WORD FROM EAGLE PRESIDENT, MARILYN LUCEY ~~~

As the president of the EAGLE board, this is the time of year I might send a message asking you to give generously via the auctions. This year, I'd like to begin differently... Thank you!

I'd like to thank the Greenbrook families who have given to EAGLE Fund in past years. It is because of your generosity that all the children have had an enhanced education at Greenbrook.

Programs like Art, Choral Music, Computers, Spanish, and school needs like paraprofessionals, the school copy machine and copy aide have been paid for completely (salary and materials) with your contributions. Without your willingness to share your blessings or fortunate circumstances, our children would not have had these valuable learning opportunities and our school staff would not have benefited from a support staff.

Furthermore, your donations have allowed the EAGLE Fund to pay for additional services from the Reading Specialists, Intervention Specialist, Rainbow Program, Science, P.E., Library, as well as allowed for the purchase of some technology. Without your past donations, these programs would not have been able to serve as many students and would not have been able to buy needed materials.

In closing, on behalf of Greenbrook students, I ask that if your circumstances allow you to purchase parties, goods, or services for your family at this time, please make those purchases at this Online Auction. A little planning and effort on your part now, for what you might need this year, makes an incredible difference in our ability to fund existing programs or new needs, such as technology, and continue the tradition of excellence at Greenbrook.
